Finding Purpose Through Life's Twists
Life has a way of presenting us with both exhilarating highs and challenging lows. My own path has been a tapestry woven with unexpected turns, yet each experience has ultimately guided me to a purpose I could never have fully envisioned. My journey began with earning a cosmetology certification, followed by pursuing an associate's degree in business administration. Despite these professional strides, I found myself facing financial hardship and grappling with unresolved issues from my past, particularly concerning my relationship with my father. It was a time of deep questioning, especially when I found myself earning a certification as a personal care aide to assist the elderly. Little did I know, this seemingly unrelated path was preparing me for the next profound chapter of my life. The Mirror of Adversity
It was through the complex relationship with my father, a man I once resented, that I truly began to discover my own self. The individual I once struggled to connect with became a source of admiration. Despite my parents' divorce, my mother remained the unwavering anchor that held our family together, a resilience for which I am eternally grateful. What I didn't anticipate was how my father would become a mirror, reflecting aspects of myself I needed to confront and understand. I started to see him not just through the lens of past hurts, but as a man of remarkable depth.
